Thomas Pediatrics offers a Specialized Nutrition and Lifestyle education program to evaluate and treat children who are above the normal percentiles for their weight.

The program is covered by most insurances and includes:

  1. Detailed initial evaluations by Dr. Thomas and her team.
  2. Body composition measurements at every visit to track the percentage of body fat, muscle mass, and calorie intake.
  3. One-on-one sessions with a dietician.
  4. Diet and Meal Planning, targeted to meet the unique requirements of each individual patient.
  5. Recommended exercise and physical activity for each patient.
  6. Motivational interviewing and strong psychological support for families.
  7. Close Physician supervision throughout the program.
  8. Regular follow-up care after the program to maintain the progress made.

We accept most insurances. If your insurance plan requires you to choose a Primary Care Physician (PCP) for your child, please make sure you have Dr. Thomas listed on the child’s insurance card.
